I would just like to remind everyone that Garcia isn't a poor quality fighter. He caught khan with a shot and khan fought on wobbly legs. He should have held Garcia until he's head cleared. A lot of guys at 140 would have gone down with that left hook. Khan never went down against maidana or Peterson. This Chavez kid looks decent but khan is a big step up for him.

Khan has superior attributes than Paulie and he can't hurt khan. So it would be UD for khan. Not saying Paulie wouldn't do better at welterweight but same result. Would be a good move for khan though.

Oh, well that makes sense too lol. If Khan gets Paulie, then i'm pretty sure Maidana will fight Canelo

Anyways, out of the top 3 (Martinez/Matthysse/Maidana), Chavez reminds me of Matthysse. He seems to have a shorter reach, but his footwork is better and his punches seem to be crisper. He's also quicker than Lucas and has better punching technique overall. I think Khan might be in deep trouble lol

Khan is light-years better than any of Chavez' past opponents, but Chavez can punch big time, so Khan would always be in danger. Not a bad matchup

What? Has Khan got a deathwish? He needs to start protecting that chin a bit better.

Chavez seems to love throwing the left hook, a punch that Khan has shown to be very vulnerable to.

Basically La Joya is faster, with better footwork than Lucas. He has a explosive right and a decent jab. But he is not as strong as Lucas and i have my doubts about his chin. He has been very protected in order to keep his record unbeaten. But he has enough power to end Amir's career.

Khan isn't an intelligent fighter, hence deciding to trade instead of hold.
