who is a ppv attraction at those weights? ward is about as close to a draw as he can get. this would be bad for pav though. ward sr put the beats on him. don't see it any different this time around.

Pavlik could earn as much money fighting someone like Froch or Abraham, earn as much money, and have an actual decent shot, especially against abraham.

The fight will never happen. Even pavlik himself knows his chances of winning are so slim, that he would never take the fight unless offered a giant payday. With Ward not being a ppv star a large opponent payday is not possible.

What about Bute? I don't understand this idea that because Froch blitzed Bute that it counts on Ward's resume...

Honestly, should Bute belong in the mix? This guy has feasted on bums and the first time he stepped up in class,he got destroyed...he will never be ready for Ward.Bute has a great left uppercut,no doubt-but he only has a puncher's chance-probably less.Ward wouldn't have gained anything beating Bute-absolutely nothing at this point.

Pavlik would get outclassed just as he did against Hopkins.

Andre Dirrell needs to get some fights under his belt before he even is considered for Ward.He has been inactive for the last few years and had 1 fight that only went 2 rounds.When he earns his way into the mix,I wouldn't mind seeing that one-I expect by that time,Ward will already be fighting at LHW.

I would like him to fight Dawson at 175 instead of Pavlik. I think Dawson at 175 is a lot better at his weight. I feel Dawson lost to much weight their for he got dropped in sparring and then gets KO by Ward. I think Ward Beats Dawson at 175 but at least it will be a lot more competitive then at 168.I mean Dawson fought him at his weight Ward should do the same.

Pavlik will lose big or a KO which is not likely. The fight would substantiate one is past prime and another is prime.

Pavlik has worked pretty hard to get back. I doubt he will have a chance against Ward but it would be good to see him get another shot.

I understand that people want to see Ward vs. Dirrell because Dirrell is the one guy that has the talent to beat Ward, but Dirrell has basically been inactive for 2 years. He needs a lesser big fight than Ward first.
