And he has been vastly overrated on this site.

SN: I met him when he fought Devon here in Saint Louis. He and his team were cool peeps and I even snapped a photo with him.

I wasn't very fond of his jab, honestly. he looked uncomfortable throwing it, and when he did throw it, he was basically always there to be hit...like he was entirely focused on "throwing the jab" as opposed to doing it naturally, so to speak...but hey, he's still an exciting fighter to watch Although, like it's been mentioned, I do think it's a good thing he's willing to experiment. I think this way he may continue to improve little by little (you can't expect these changes to take place overnight) with Garcia.

Crude fighter with power and heart. Give enough pressure that if you are not ready and have skill he will KO his foe.

Can be out fought but it is not easy and there is always a chance at any point in the fight he can get a KO

Well his jab set up the right hand whether you like how he threw it or not. Besides I've watched the fight three times now he was mixing in other shots off of the jab and not focusing solely on the jab except when he was trying to slow the bigger Karass's momentum.

Btw, larry is such a hater. I bet 30 seconds in the ring with Maidana and he'd get dusted. Too much typing= not enough training.

I respect Maidana not only because he has given us barnburners, but because I know if he was sparring with me I would have a Hellacious time despite my 40 lb weight advantage. If Larry or anyone else on this site was honest, they would see the same thing.

Maidana is exciting as hell. Fighters like him desreve everyones respect, it's not easy to fight like tthey do. I've tried to fight like that during some of my fights and during sparring, ut gets results but its tough. So respect to those fighters. Also Alexander didn't expose him, unlrss by expose you mean throw 2 punches and then grab him, in which case, yes he exposed him.
