Granted he may have missed a few fights at 140, but come on guy! Just about everyone in the last five years have been or became champs that Cotto has faced. Paper champ? That's a little harsh their guy and way off. You're talking about a future hall of famer. Oh and I'm black buy the way, so that throws your racist comment out the window!
    Mayweather's resume s**ts all over Cotto's too.

Cotto has a solid resume and will be in the HOF though.

Wins over Quintana, Torres, Malignaggi, Judah, Mosley, Clottey, Foreman, Margarito, he has a solid resume. It's not as great as some make it out to be though.

I want to see nothing but good things come for Cotto. His work ethic is something to be admired. I would definitely love to see him beat Trout and go on to face Canelo in May. Initially, I had no interest in seeing them fight, but I've slowly started to change my mind. In a perfect (my) world Cotto will beat Trout and round out his career by fighting Manny and winning by UD and then Floyd and winning with a brutal KO in the late rounds.

If Kostya Tszyu got in ont he first ballot, Cotto should. S**t, Brian Mitchell, Ingemar Johannson, and Barry McGuigan got into the HOF. Cotto should too.

4 titles in 3 weight classes. Wins over Quintana, Torres, Malignaggi, Judah, Mosley, Clottey, Foreman, and Margarito. And he could get more solid wins. He should get in.

I thought the Clottey fight could have gone either way. I thought Cotto landed the harder punches most of the fight, but it was close. The Mosley fight, I had Cotto winning in a really close fight. Could have seen a draw though.

Margarito was past it, but it was still an important win for Cotto.

I'm just saying going by who has gotten in, Cotto should for sure.
