    If he reitred today......No

If he wins a title against a solid MW, or goes on to get some more solid wins at 154, or gets a win over someone like Sergio Martinez, than he without a doubt would get in.

He's a great fighter, one of the top in his era, but his resume is overrated by a lot.

Cotto is right that Pac and FMJ could sit down and make the fight happen if they really wanted to, but we all know one of them doesn't really want to, 50 Cent confirmed as much.

Im going to get the trash talk for this but how do you say Tszyu shouldnt be in the hall of fame. If you were exceptional in boxing circles and memorable then you are in. Tszyu fits these categories. He was surely exceptional and had some classic, memorable wins against the best.

And by that token, Cotto does too. He has been one of the stand out fighters of the last decade.

Really like the way Cotto is handling his career now. Calling his own damn shots, being his own damn boss. I like it.

I don't see it and I worry about Cotto losing to just about everyone just because I want him to win so badly. Letting Cotto establish his own pace, not pressing him, is not going to win this fight for Trout IMO. Mayweather did it, but he's Mayweather. Trout is not on that level and has never fought anything close to what Cotto is bringing to ring. Cotto has fought fighters that Trout aspires to be. Cotto wins this, I've been wrong before, but I'm pretty confident in that.
