Sergio reminds me of Marvin Hagler in thathewas't pushed or groomed to be a big name. He did it the hard way, by beating everyone up and the fame they both got are well well deserved.

An Argentine member posted an interview with Martinez a few days ago. I commented, "Sergio must be a rock star in Argentina right now." He didn't respond. Judging from these magazine covers and your comments, I see I was right! Martinez is firing on all cylinders. Argentina is full of beautiful women; it must be great to be "Maravilla" nowadays!
I think that he is probably gonna be the most famous argentinian boxer since Monzon.Comment

Boxers don't really get a lot of fans here, it's all Football. I've seen some boxers get a little attention in the past like Jorge La "Hiena" Barrios, Jorge "Locomotora" Castro or El "Chino" Maidana but never like this. Everyone was talking about last saturday fight.
I think that he is probably gonna be the most famous argentinian boxer since Monzon.
Didn't Barrios get arrested for running over someone while drunk?
I forgot what the outcome of that was.
He was plenty entertaining.
Castro had an awfully padded resume. Maidana is an entertainer too.Comment
