not hatin on timmy here but he used to be the toast of the 140lb weight class. now his rep is in shreds. that after 'beating' an old shopworn fighter. just goes on to show that winning belts is not everything in boxing. gota earn that rep the hard way,i guess.

bradley had his chance to steal the limelight from pac. he COULDVE gone to war with pac like promised... but he played it safe and got his rep tarnished...
josesito lopez gained more fans with a gutsy loss compared to tim's cautious "win"...

sucks for tim... he's a good champion, but just got stuck in a bad position.
now he is stuck with options like berto, judah, & peterson on HBO (if they even offer him dates)... the guy got a "win" over a p4p great and he is still begging for another payday.

pac seems to be faded anyway... tim needs to move on and build a bigger fanbase.

the poor guy took a golden opportunity, chased the money and got stuck in a dead end... i feel for him.

in many ways, he opted to take the ortiz route.... instead of the ward route....

he got a belt that nobody cares to take from him. i say give matthysse a shot!!!!

because bradley did not earn anything from Pac fight except from the gift of the judges! hahaha!

there's nothing to prove in fighting bradley, and his whole team knows this. They earned much in fighting Pac, now they want to duplicate his earning regardless Bradley's inability to win over Pac with the right judges! If they had earned 750,000 ppv, IMHO.. this time much much lesser ppv if they would do it again!

Fighters like Mayweather, Pacquiao and Cotto don't really need belts to sale a fight. Its just something to help promote a fight. You know why that belt means nothing, because neither one would be the actual Lineal Welter Weight champion. Mayweather is the lineal champion, because he's the man that beat the man. You think Pac cares about making history at this point? That mattered when he was fighting for a title at 154 aginst Marg. To show you how much the belts matter, if they had any significance Marquez probably wouldn't be fighting Pac for a fourth time. Those dudes don't care about belts, they care about winning and regardless of what they might say, they care about "Money". They just say they don't to blow smoke up your ass. Shane Mosley who was considered the WW champion, not title holder although he did have the WBA belt at the time fought Mayweather. Mayweather didn't want the belt, he didn't pay the sactioning fees because he knew that he would be the Lineal champ with or without that damn belt. Belts mean nothing, just as Mayweather said they only collect dust. For the more established fighters, chasing belts are a thing of the past, its all about status. You think Martinez, who is the lineal champ at MW wanted to fight Chavez for that damn WBC belt or for the money and recognition? Don't worry I'll wait for you to answer.
that sounds more like a personal problem. you're kind of making my case for me because the guys that you mentioned, that are still fighting, besides pacquiao, they're all current belt holders......you do know that? the reason why mayweather didn't want the wba belt in the mosley fight is because the fee was close to $700,000 (and i didn't blame him), but guess what in his very next fight, he fought for a belt and beating ortiz didn't do nothing for legacy. martinez chased chavez jr. for 3 years to get that fight, and of course money plaid a major part in the fight, but once again if the belt meant nothing why pay sanctioning fee? but it did mean something. he paid the fee and he got his belt back.

Pac JMM IV is such a waste of time. Right along the lines of the Clottey, Margarito and Mosley fights.

Look for Bob to exclude Mayweather again and want to make Bradley vs Pac II next year.
The fight is over and we saw what we need to see. If they just wanted the belt, then pac was right to just let them take take it! Afterall, it becomes an empty belt since the day Bradley took it and now seems no one cares to take it!

                      Yawn.

Bradley doesn't interest me one bit. He should grow some hair and brush it after his fights.
