A lot of people talk about how passionate and dedicated British fans are when they see news like this. But to me it's a real shame that Hatton vs TBA can sell so many tickets so quickly while other really good fights get very little interest from the general public.

I'd expect the current version of Hatton to get knocked out though.Last edited by Clegg; 09-20-2012, 08:32 AM.

maybe most of those people who bought the tickets just want to see hatton get knocked out again in person? you have to admit when he gets knocked out it's classic comedy, totally flattened for 5 minutes by Pac and turned into a pinball by Mayweather

Yea, I see the same thing happening with prime Hatton, he doesn't last long now with Maidana though.
I don't think Hatton vs TBA selling all those tickets is too bad, as Hatton was a superstar. However, the undercard of the Mitchell-Burns fight and the reluctance to match our fighters hard really hurts the sport over here.
Hatton has is own stable and rumours are Murray is going to be fighting on the under card in his biggest fight yet. I cannot stand seeing a card with one decent main event and the rest is full of prospect A vs TBA, prospect B vs TBA. Only for TBA to be replaced by a fighter with a record of 0-48 or 2-50, what good is that for a fighter?
I'm hoping Ricky provides serious opportunities for several of his fighters.
