I don't buy into the whole 'have to fight in the US' thing.

Bollocks. The champ shouldn't have to travel to the US to face challengers, it should be them that has to travel. Unless it's a unification or some other major thing, in which case it would be purely down to what location makes most sense financially.

Hope Mitchell pulls this off, whilst Burns has grown on me I'm a bit tired of his opponent selection and defending his title in his hometown (not his fault more Warrens). At least Mitchell will try unify with DeMarco and give the fans what they want to see.
I'm 100% on the law, but I think Mitchell's drug conviction could stop him fighting in the US.

I'd like to see Burns face the Broner-DeMarco winner, Abril would be a good as well.

I wouldn't mind seeing the loser of this face someone like Rees or Murray. There are good fights to be made so I hope Warren doesn't play it safe. I agree with the article that Burns has shown a lot of improvement and deserves a big fight.

You can have him after Mitchell takes care of him this weekend.

The event with Burns and Broner should have happened a year ago, until somebody ducked(Burns).

I'm sure Burns is still in no hurry to get to the US to get his butt stretched.

            Scotland Vs Britain

If Burns gets past Mitchell i'd like to see him take on the Broner Vs DeMarco winner if that fight goes ahead.

A fight against Abril would be good also..that one would more than likely take place in the UK though you would imagine.

              Weebler,

Americans think that British = English. They just do not get it*.

I've been stood with a Scottish mate & an American has said "Ha, I thought Brits & Scots didn't get along". I've tried maps, diagrams, blackboards, fancy computer presentations but they do not understand the whole, British, English, Scottish, Welsh, Irish thing.

Growing up in London the only people I didn't like were Upper Class Twits. Since moving to America I've discovered I'm meant to dislike everyone. Including my mum as she's a Paddy.

*If you are American & DO get it well done.

I was in Califoria recently and was asked about my accent as nobody could understand anything I was saying; When I told one guy I was British, he said 'oh cool, I like England'. I informed him that I wasn't English, I was Scottish......he then said 'I thought you said you were British?'

                I left the conversation there.

ha ha ha. California is the worst. I lived there for 7 years and 90% of people thought I was Australian. When I said "No, I'm a Londoner" they wouldn't believe me. They'd argue I'd also get Kiwi & South African before England.
