Exactly, being booed by a crowd that paid huge amount just to see a fight and they end up seeing some dancing or running show. The crowd was so disappointed because they expect something better. Oh, there is a sure way to know who the crowd is booing, watch the fight if you have the chance.

Your four "justifiable" reasons are pretty weak.

Sure Pac had Marquez down 3 times in one Round, but then what? You say it was "luck" he survived! Look at some of those lefts Marquez took in Round 1 afterthe 3rd knockdown, that's not luck, it's chin and heart. If Pac was all the Champ you say he is, why could he not finish such a "beaten" man? I know the answer ... because he can't, and won't. He had his chance and blew it. Marquez remained in the fight because he is skilled boxer and fighter, unlike Pac, who gave Marquez nothing different during rounds 2 to 12. Pac was simply out-boxed by a Champion after those intial knockdowns.

You say that Marquez never "threatened" Pac. It's a game of points my friend, not threats. Marquez outpointed Pac over Rounds 2 to 12. It's called Championship Boxing not Championship Threatening.

You mention the judging. Again, it was one point that separated those guys after 12 Rounds. If Pac actually was equipped with the "Class-A" skills you mentioned, he should have never been in that situation. Pac should have used his "Class-A" skills to win that fight by wide margin after the spread he created in Round #1. But,he couldn't pull it out when facing a true first-tier Champ like Marquez.

      SUMMARY
For Pac to beat a Champ like Marquez, he needed more than a 10-7 round! What does that say about your man?
what fight were you watching, watch again the fight bro...for instance in round 2 jmm was able to connect 8 vs pac's 18, how can you say that jmm won that round? pac ended jmm's rally in round 7 and was able to win rounds 7, 9, 10 & 12 rounds after the first two rounds. jmm didn't dominate this fight. off course, jmm has to outbox jmm becoz he is a boxer-counter puncher but boxing doesn't necessarily win every round for a fighter.

this observation is so bias, so i won't finish reading this long post, coz it doesn't amount to anything.

JMM has the belt, so he has every right to make that money.
Yes, Winky has belts too, but in a fight with Tito, trust me when I say that most people that watch a fight between the two are watching cause of Tito!
With him we all know ahead of time that it's gonna be exciting...can you say the same for Winky?
i agree that jmm is less boring than winky but both of them belong to the "boring" category of boxers. everybody who stakes his life and honor has the right to make money, not just fighters who have belts especially if they conveniently choose opponents who they know they can beat.

This is true, and having a belt doesn't necessarily mean you are a crowd drawer.

Well, if you haven't read my post, but have responded negatively to it, maybe you have a slight bias?

Seriously though, my point was that Pac lost on points after getting an early 10-7 Round on all three cards. This observation is not bias, it's simply a fact.

I went into this fight rootin' for Pac. He was the exciting new guy with speed, poer and most of all, stamina. When he floored Marquez, I was screamin' man. It was Pac's arrival in the top-tier scene and he was taking the belts from Marquez in monstrous fashion. But he didn't. I stressed-out for the next few rounds, because we were watching Marquez being allowed to climb back into the fight. But, I still wanted to see Manny pull it off. He just didn't. He couldn't finish what he started in the first round, no bias there.

I saw, as you did, the Champ came back by using his masterful boxing/countering skills to draw this fight.

Summary .... I wanted Manny to finish-off Marquez and show that he deserved to be in the top tier. But, instead I became even more a fan of Marquez because he showed every boxing fan what skills and heart a true Champion must possess.

Not sure if you're calling me a dumbass or not, but whatever.
There have been many times while watching a fight on TV that I've heard the crowd boo and asked myself exactly WHO or WHAT they were booing, cause I didnt see either fighter doing anything that deserved it. That was my point!

I do watch them, thank you. Apparently you and I appreciate different qualities in a fighter, and a good fight. While a knockout is always exciting, I have no problem watching a technician ply his craft. That is what the Sweet Science is all about..I understand that with Pac's limited skills that he pretty much has to rely on knockouts, and the fact that he has the power to accomplish that SOMETIMES says good things about him since there is very little a fighter can do to improve his level of power..youre either born with it or your not; just like a good chin. But, skill is something else all together...it can be worked on and improved, and if Pac would work on that he'd be a force to reckon with (I've posted that many times).
See, I can post my reply without insulting you and/or your intelligence....referring to your remark about me actually watching the fight; what the hell do you think I'm doing while I'm sitting there in front of the tv?
Like I said, it's one thing to have the power to knock someone out..but I like it when a fighter has the skills and talent to outbox his opponet too. Boxing is not all about ko's...every once in a while, a boxer is forced to actually BOX, and I, unlike you , have no problem with that..no problem at all.
