I think peeps know Winky more than JMM. But I'll be nice and say JMM and Winky have about the same drawing power.
With Winky being in the heavier weight kinda gives him the edge...as more fans tend to be more interested in that.
So the WinkyTito and JMMpac predicament is about the same. Why you think JMM should and Winky NOT get what he wants is kinda...hhhmmmmm ...boggling.

jmm is smart for wanting more money. he is the draw. sure fans like to see pac fight but jmm has the belt so really pac needs him or pac can go fight morales and probably lose for no belt. so if he wants the belt fork over the cash.

Well, actually kuya, it doesn't matter which weight class are you in. It is how you dispose the other guy that makes the drawing power. It is the exitement that you bring into the fight and being consistent with it in every fight. These are just some of the elements of drawing power. Just my two cents...

I have to disagree with that. For years Winky couldnt even get anybody in the ring with him; his style is just so boring, while JMM's isnt! I can only speak for myself, but I'd pay ppv for JMM in a heartbeat, but if it was Winky I'd have to base it on who he was fighting.
JMM has the belt, so he has every right to make that money.
Yes, Winky has belts too, but in a fight with Tito, trust me when I say that most people that watch a fight between the two are watching cause of Tito!
With him we all know ahead of time that it's gonna be exciting...can you say the same for Winky?

You are right - JMM is smart for wanting more money but i doubt if he is really the draw here. Of course Pacman wants JMM's belts but it should be Arum forking over the cash.

I think who is the draw and who isnt is really based on the fans. I, for one, consider the draw to be JMM for this fight. I cant be alone in that..but there's really no sure way of knowing exactly which one bring's in the most people

I respect your opinion but JMM got booed many times in his last fight, while Pacman's middle name is "exitement".

Being booed by a crowd that paid a hugh amount for tickets doesnt really prove anything. Not to me, anyway. I mean, there is no sure way of knowing exactly what or who they were booing in the first place..it could have been the ref. or anything..there's just no way to be sure about that

There are four (4) justifiable reasons why he should go home with less purse than Pacquiao on their return bout.
Marquez's performance against Pac proves he is in fact a first-tier Champion. He proved this not only to himself, but to anyone watching that fight. You must give Marquez's titles some credibility, otherwise, why would your boy Pac want them?

Your four "justifiable" reasons are pretty weak.

Sure Pac had Marquez down 3 times in one Round, but then what? You say it was "luck" he survived! Look at some of those lefts Marquez took in Round 1 afterthe 3rd knockdown, that's not luck, it's chin and heart. If Pac was all the Champ you say he is, why could he not finish such a "beaten" man? I know the answer ... because he can't, and won't. He had his chance and blew it. Marquez remained in the fight because he is skilled boxer and fighter, unlike Pac, who gave Marquez nothing different during rounds 2 to 12. Pac was simply out-boxed by a Champion after those intial knockdowns.

You say that Marquez never "threatened" Pac. It's a game of points my friend, not threats. Marquez outpointed Pac over Rounds 2 to 12. It's called Championship Boxing not Championship Threatening.

You mention the judging. Again, it was one point that separated those guys after 12 Rounds. If Pac actually was equipped with the "Class-A" skills you mentioned, he should have never been in that situation. Pac should have used his "Class-A" skills to win that fight by wide margin after the spread he created in Round #1. But,he couldn't pull it out when facing a true first-tier Champ like Marquez.

                    SUMMARY
For Pac to beat a Champ like Marquez, he needed more than a 10-7 round! What does that say about your man?
