HBO turns down Khan vs Soto

    Dan Rafael ‏@danrafaelespn
I was told that @GoldenBoyBoxing offered @HBOboxing a December fight between @AmirKingKhan and Humberto Soto and was turned down. #boxing

This would be a great fight & makes sense for both fighters looking too rebound.
who wins this one? Bit on the fence at the minute.

Wonder why they turned it down... are they done with Khan in general?

HBO knows khan isn't the main attraction anymore. he's in the rear view now.

Maybe it's to do with Soto? Maybe they think Soto is finished after the Matthysse fight?

they probably don't want to stage a fight where both men are coming off tko losses? like i said before, khan should just take a tuneup fight back in england and then come back and think about fighting quality opponents here in the states.

i'm on HBO on this. why would they be interested on two boxer both coming from a loss? I think HBO would be ok with Khan-bradley, maidana, lucas. even an ortiz fight would get the HBO nod than a fight with soto.

I thought Khan brought in big revenue? Isn't that the word on the street? Doesn't he bring in his fanbase from the UK? Plus he's exciting cause he can get KO'd any minute. I like watching Khan fight lol

Everyone would watch that fight just to see if Khan gets brutally knocked out again!
