lol, a rematch...in Texas? sounds legit.

I mean, if other big names or champs turn down fighting him and JR is the only one left calling him out then fine, but I'm sure everyone would rather see Sergio continue onto trying to get another big fight before a rematch that hopefully doesn't happen in Texas.

I think Cotto might look at a fight against Martinez if and how he can beat Trout...he has come up short against the other top fighters of his era and getting another chance at someone like Sergio would be tempting despite the risks. Cotto could also lose and get hurt in a war against Canelo, but all the glory of a win is against Sergio. Trout is also a tricky fight so it doesn't seem like Cotto is trying to take an easy road on his way out..

I favor Martinez in the fight, but if Cotto somehow beat him, it seems like he could go back and lobby for a final match against Floyd and get another shot to beat him. big challenge but well see.

The good thing is that all the fights are makeable so something nice should b around the corner hopefully

The point I was making is that just because Pacquiao droped cotto, that doesnt mean Sergio will do it to. Same with Tony beating Sergio and Cotto winning!
this is the most delusional post i have ever came across... i wish i can red k you but i cant.

I understand your Puertorican but c'mon Cotto doesnt beat Martinez . It would b a good fight but in my opinion Martinez stops Cotto to much speed n power for Cotto.

I am a big Cotto fan but I can't see him beating Martinez at this stage unless Sergio has trouble coming back from the Knee injury. I know Sergio nearly got KO'd by a 180+ lbs Chavez Jr, but Miguel nearly got KOd by 150 lbs Floyd. I hope I'm wrong, but I would pick Martinez by late TKO.

I actually think Martinez would go down to LMW to fight him. seeing as how that's the only way it would even happen. Cotto is not gonna make concessions for Sergio, bank on it.

I seriously doubt this fight happens though.

I won't mind, because Cotto-Alvarez is a big fight as well, and will prove if Alvarez has the goods or not.

now THAT would be VERY interesting!!...is it possible for Maravilla to cut 5 pounds from his last weigh in and STILL be solid?!?...IDK man!!

Martinez is too big for cotto it would be a great fight and interesting but cotto is too small he's like Martinez stuck between weight classes cotto is going to fight Canelo after he beats trout when he beats Canelo then the fight might happen Martinez is getting old and cotto is an elite fighter something Martinez hasn't fought yet but Martinez is an elite fighter as well styles do make for a great fight but I think cotto is more interested in Canelo at this time to unify belts

Lame!!!!! Martina wants to knock Jotto out to get his confidence back because he doesn't believe in his power or chin after the Chavez Jr. fight!!! Chavez Jr. vs Martinez Rematch best fight out there for both Chavez Jr. & Martina!!! Martina doesn't want a part of Chavez Jr. anymore because Chavez Jr. figured him out late!
