Comments Thread For: Sergio Martinez Prefers Cotto Over Chavez Jr. Rematch

Rubbish. He was left bloodied, battered and a quivering shell of a man at the hands of Chavez. Weeks should have stopped the fight. Weeks should have called a second knockdown. Weeks failed to do these things because he was bought and paid for by Bob Arum and Lou Di Bella.
I won't even mention the ridiculous scoring, just that Moretti, Byrd and Christodoulou should have been indicted the second they submitted their results and in front of a Grand Jury by Monday morning.Comment

Dude stop, just sign off and stop. I don't know why i'm feeding you troll but just cancel your account and never come back. Sergio was good on his feet, he beat the 10 count and was fine, Chavez held his head and threw him down, that wasn't a KD, besides even if it was Maravilla got back up anyway and continued to EXCHANGE with Junior as opposed to holding on and clinching. Why would Bob Arum buy out Weeks when Junior is one of his biggest money makers? Specially if he could keep him undefeated? Anyway, this post right here people shows you how DELUSIONAL you are.Rubbish. He was left bloodied, battered and a quivering shell of a man at the hands of Chavez. Really????
I think Cotto has a tough time with Sergio based on size, speed at that weight, power. Cotto obviously has the ring smarts, experience, and doesn't hit like a b*tch either, but Martinez proved he's as tough as they come and will be there until the very end. What concerns me about Cotto is his stamina. Had he continued fighting rounds 9-12 against Mayweather it might've gotten really interesting but he seemingly shut down after the 9th and got hurt the in 12th by Floyd. I support Cotto to the fullest, but if it's a 157-158 type catchweight for the Middleweight title, it'll be hard for me to pick Cotto. Martinez is the real deal.Comment
