Are you kidding me, this is a FINAL ELIMINATOR and dozens of articles predicting Canelo's December and May 2013 opponents dont mention Vanes or Lara. WTF, kirkland hasnt done **** to deserve a fight, nor has anyone else. Lara and Vanes putting everything on the line, their entire career is at risk all for the chance to face Canelo and yet, that might not happen? FCK* the WBC if they dont force Canelo to fight his 1st Mandatory (Vanes/Lara) after all these years.

Why is Kirkland still even in the discussion? The dude is suing GBP and his entire team (including his trainer). Lawsuits automatically put a fighter on the shelf. Go after Molina or K9. Hell, I will even tolerate Quintana. But please for the love of anything sacred on this fucking planet, do not choose another 140/147lber.

Honestly, I'd accept either one. I still think Angulo would have beaten Kirkland if he hadn't tried to take his head off so quickly.

Its money to break the contract if theres even a contract yet.. and at the time Cotto was being bothered by Arum and Canelo wasnt an option so he went with the best available choice.
