Yes im for a rematch...money wise it will make a killing at Jerry World, and I think JCC will be more active in a rematch...then again....Pirog or Geale are guys who i would rather see instead, but money talks, and because it does....along with the hype it would get....i dont hate the idea of a rematch.
I thought Khan won convincingly, although he looked vulnerable. I think I had it 8-4 for Khan. I feel the same way about Chavez/Martinez as I did there, no immediate rematch needed.

I mean he could rematch Chavez. It would be easy money again if he really wanted. It would hurt his legacy though, he has more fish to fry.

left hand broken (@ round 4), knee troubles and Martinez wins last 30 seconds, Rematch? Martinez wins 11.5 rounds against a cruiserweight, wtf are we thinkin!?, the guy with the advantages was sent to school.
Rematch resume: Chavez getting schooled again but Martinez doesn't fight toe to toe at the end...

I think we all aready know what happened in the last round and what basically happened throughout the whole fight. But the main reason Martinez will take a rematch is for the $$$$ and nothing else. He will probably be on the upside of the contract and make way more than his whole career.

Chavez isnt cut like martinez was martinez needed 8 stiches over the eye caused by a punch and even more on his head broken hand and knee, I say martinez is running out of time, theres nobody martinez can fight that will generate the interest or money ,and getting almost KTFO will change things around, and fyi chavez in a few weeks will be healed while martinez wont be healed till next yr it wasnt chavez that went to the hospital!

11.5 rounds is a gross exaggeration he won 10 officially chavez had his moments obviousley not enough ...Cruiserwt my ass Chvez jr weighd less than martinez at the weigh in @lbs underlimit which is alot, the difference is his size a taller person will rehydrate more more water more weight

money isnt the only reason if your martinez wouldnt it hurt your pride to see that shiatt replayed over and over????It would mine! maybe he can repeat his performance without almost getting ktfo in the mOST important round maybe Chavez can learn from his mistakes, regardless its great for the sport!
Who in the hell wants to pay to see mayweather fight another bum or pacman face the same of 3 guys over and over?? were tired of that shiaat!

ehem, that's what Sergio is looking for for the past couple of years, PAYDAY... Calling TOP DOGS..... on lighter divisions for PAYDAY. So I dont see why Sergio will decline a rematch unless he is bothered by the last round.

He weighed less at weigh in, but right after the fight during the "golpe a Golpe" show Chavez himself said he had to drop 35 pounds just to try to make the 160 pound limit. Understand thats the fight game, but Chavez is a big dude for this division and that's his main advantage.

I agree Sergio is looking for a payday..and he has found it with Chavez Jr. Hopefully he can recover soon and get more $$$. The guy deserves it

Look at what happens the last 20-30 seconds of the round, and look at Sergio's legs. Look at the punches that Chavez is landing on him as Sergio is against the ropes. This is the moment that Jr. and all his fans were waiting for, and what could he do? Nothing. The most vulnerable that Martinez has looked in the entire fight, and Jr. couldn't capitalize, he didn't have it in him.

If Sergio was as hurt as most people believe, then Chavez should've been able to stop him, it really is that simple. So either Sergio wasn't that hurt or he's Superman, or Chavez doesn't have power.
