Every time Marroquin landed a decent shot he hurt Rigo, Rigo defense is great but the first one with some pop to land on rigo will KO him easily.

    What yall think?
well I said yesterday and ill say again. Andre Ward was getting rocked bad by club fighters 11 fights in not title challengers. He'll be alright.

to add to my point Dawson was also dropped by a jab on his way up. Maybe not the best example since he just got KTFO but still his chin held up against some pretty good punchers.

Rigo recovers pretty quick though. That isn't the first time he gets hit in the round either, but that's only time that he gets wobbled. This is how you land on the faster guy, you have to be willing to throw WITH them.

Edit 2: 10:00(3/4) (Round 9), Rigo gets caught shoe-shining with his hands down and also shuffling his feet, he got caught with a left hook over the top and stumbles.

I'm still not convinced that there's anything to worry about. He got wobbled because of his own complacency/over-confidence/******ity, not because he has a bum chin or he can't absorb punishment. Sure, a defensive-first guy who rarely ever gets hit will react differently to a flush shot than a guy who's style is based on taking punishment. Even IF he got hurt, he still kept his composure in there and didn't get careless like some fighters would under pressure. After he got wobbled, he would clinch and then go right back to doing what he did before.

Marroquin pack a heck of a punch, and Rigondeaux was clowning he will not do the same $h1t against ND, then your factor that he was in Miami for his court and back in Vegas with only two or three days to get use to the 3 hours difference and you have a so so performance, two Kd and almost a shut out against a hungry, young puncher that have over 6 lbs over him and you ppl still not satisfied, I hope Nonito grows a pair and fight him now, Rigondeaux was hit on top of the head loss balance and never went down, his 11 fight and third defense of his belt, I'll c u all here if that fight happens.

Watched the fight again, and yeah, Rigo didn't do well with his body work tonight. He threw about 100 body shots, and some of them were pawing shots. His worst round in terms of body punches thrown was the 9th and his best was the 7th. So you were right last night to say that he somewhat abandoned the body.
