If anything, trying to swarm by pushing Floyd back to the ropes is the style that is the hardest for Floyd if we're to go by what has actually happened.
His hardest fights were Castillo then Cotto. They were in no way "boxing" Floyd.
They also didn't have any true blue slickness and were far from fine athletic specimens.
I'd take speed, quickness, and slickness over power/size any day if it's not going to be a war of attrition but rather a "battle of the minds" or boxing match.
