I'm a Mayweather Jr. fan and I think Alvarez with his size, pressure-style and power at 154 would be a nightmare for Floyd. Age is also a factor here. Over a 10 year age difference. I'm not sure who would win that fight at 154. I think Alvarez has looked impressive because he hasn't really fought anyone significant. I would like to see how he responds to those shots Lopez landed if it came from a true 154-pounder. Mayweather is not a true 154-pounder. He'll come in at 150 on fight night and Alvarez will have a 14-15 pound weight advantage.

Right now, Alvarez is nothing but hype. Like Pauli stated during the fight, he is being built up. Maybe in 5 years or something but he's not on the elite level atm. Too many people are hyping him up when he's nothing special. I like the dude but not vs Mayweather type caliber fighters. Like I said I think Alvarez vs Cotto or even Kirkland would be good.
