I was chewing popcorn and thinking 'yup pretty much as expected' 'till that final round had me jumping all over the place lol. He showed great heart ad fair play to him for that, but a rematch is a bad idea for him, he'd just get schooled again.

Umm.. right. You got humiliated by a much smaller 37y man. Then you manage to knock him down and... you deserve a rematch? gtfo loser

So if you score a knockdown but lose practically every round, you're entitled to a rematch?

            No thanks.

What Jr. needs to take away from that fight is NOT that he would have beaten Serg with bit more time.

The lesson to be learned was how an elite fighter train, works and thinks in a ring. No more cutting corners, no more working out in your mansion, no more self-entitlement.

There is some talent there. I mean, he was really poor at one stage in his career. If he dedicates himself fully, he can still be a good fighter and keep improving. And that humbling last night was really needed.

But a rematch? No. I'm hoping Serg doesn't fall for it, even if the Jr groupies on here (some of whom I'm sure are being fans in an ironic way) will accuse him of ducking.

Jr just proved one thing to those that don't know him, he's big and he can take a hit. He's still slow and has no heart. One great round out of twelve do not make you an elite fighter. Sergio was just too tired at the end from boxing the hell out of you Julio. Now go back to fighting bums in cantinas in Culiacan.

A rematch would not only be a waste of time, but would also be bad for Julio's health.

Time to go to SMW, Julio. I'm sure it won't take long for your god father, Jose Sulaiman, to strip Ward and set you up with another vacant title shot. You could be a 2-division "champion".

Would a rematch be a waste of time? Sergio might be out for 6 months now and he's already 37 years old. Chavez looked desperately short of confidence throughout the fight but at the end he looked like he thought he was some kind of moral winner (which he ****ing wasn't!).

If Chavez commits fully to boxing while Sergio is out injured he stands a decent chance in a rematch. I'd watch.

Landed like 300 punches and didn't even wobble Jr's legs once. Jr was laughing too hard at martinez's pathetic b¡tch slaps to be able to focus until the last round.
With this post you are officially confirmed as being a troll sir. Congratulations.
