You actually have apoint there but marquez still managed to OUTCONNECT manny TOTAL after 3 fights, and JMM never came even close to getting knocked down let alone through the ropes silly like Martinez did, that was embarrassing, you have to admit not even martinez can feel good about that victory, indeed martinez won most of the fight, but it was more about what chavez didnt do than what about martinez did, Martinez was embarrassed, theres going to be a rematch as chavez jr just came far too close to destroying martinez , even in a lopsided fight.which says a lot about where martinez is ,chavez has room to grow martinez has hit his peak and isnt getting any younger .

if you're only talking about the last fight then yes, no knock downs but then you cant go and say marquez managed to outconnect manny TOTAL AFTER 3 fights.

which is it? you can't just pick and choose stats. either he outconnected in 3 total fights but suffered 4 knockdowns. or he didnt outconnect manny in the last fight, suffered no knockdowns and lost. if you are just going to pick and choose stats then sergio demoed chavez for 11.5 rounds and won the last 40 seconds despite the belief that some people have that he was about to get knocked out. he pushed chavez back with connects and chavez was so done in the last 40 seconds that he couldnt land squat.

also, if it's about what chavez didnt do then did you ever consider that it was martinez that stopped him from doing it? chavez himself said in the post fight press conference that he couldnt find martinez and land on him. he couldnt find him because martinez was dummying him and was going blind in one eye. he only landed that hook when martinez decided to stand and trade. even the first 1:30 of that round, martinez was beating him. took a shot, got up, won the last 40 seconds. good job by chavez to land that punch but he got worked. he couldnt even look martinez in the face at the press conference, he rubbed his swollen eye, looked down and walked off the stage. go watch his body language. that alone tells you that chavez himself knows he got dominated.

furthermore, you of all people should know that getting hurt and knocked down isn't the end of the world considering the first 2 fights between manny and marquez.

Canelo isn't worth the risk (i'm not talking $$$). It'll be just like the Chavez match-up, another mismatch where Sergio is expected to win by most, and then you'll have the ****-riders hyping Canelo up. Then when Canelo gets shot down, those same ****-riders will find a way to discredit Sergio's win by throwing Canelo under the bus. Oscar's bitch-ass should put Canelo in there with the winner of Lara/Vanes and stop with the foolishness already. Only fighter he should move down for is Floyd.
