Oh and I guess Chavez Jr was at his 100% ... The kid was hurt a couple of times, his face was destroyed at the end of the fight and received a lot of punishment from Martinez.Comment

Chavez Jr was scared of Martinez's speed... he was like a deer in headlights... Jr needs to take training more seriously and keep a tight schedule, not just train when he wants toThomas & Mack Center, Las Vegas - Sergio Martinez (50-2-2, 29KOs) dominated Julio Cesar Chavez Jr. (46-1-1, 32KOs) for nearly eleven rounds of action. But in the twelfth Chavez dropped and came close to stopping Martinez. The scores were 118-109, 118-109 and 117-110, giving Martinez the twelve round unanimous decision and the WBC middleweight title.

I was very surprised at how tough Chavez proved to be. He took all the shots, which I didn't think he would. I thought Chavez would get stopped.Comment

Martinez was moving and peppering Jr with hard shots. Did you see his face? And Chavez outweighs Martinez by a significant amount so standing toe to toe and fighting him would just be ******.Martinez won clearly but i hate his style of boxing i hate it how volume punchers steal rounds with shots that don't connect and the way Martinez was running the last 4 rounds made me feel sick running but putting some swagger on it to make it look tough like hes not gassed throwing his slappy shots that were hitting Chavez gloves majority of the time the odd one getting through. Massive respect for Chavez though hes got heart and he still has a big future.Comment
Cotto will be next in line to fall when he goes up against Canelo Cabron!
