    Just stop it.
LOL....read the damn article. It confirms everything Ive said. Margarito's team petitioned the WBO for an immediate rematch and Williams chose a voluntary defence instead.

Margarito was never looking for a rematch, that's why he was chasing around DLH and did you not listen to the post-fight press conference when they were still talking about fighting Cotto after Williams put that work in. On top of that, there was no immediate rematch clause.

Again, do we have to keep addressing the fact that Margarito never intended to fight PWill again, if you can't see that, then you're slow, I can't help you.

Yes there was no immediate rematch clause which is why Margarito's team lobbied for one. Williams refused the immediate rematch to take a voluntary against Quintana.

Margarito did avoid Williams after he beat Cotto. He was chasing a fight with DLH and eventually fought Mosley.

They both avoided each other at different times. Being able to look at things objectively and not be biased towards one side may help you

Wrong. Pwill beat the guy clearly... and had been chasing guy for years. Margarito was expressing interest in fighting DLH or Cotto after PWill. PWill kept it moving. When guy didn't land a fight with DLH or Cotto, he lobbied for a rematch; that's too bad. But he was offered the chance for a rematch after he beat Cotto and he opted not to, in order to land the DLH fight; didn't happen. So guy can fight dude he ducked for years before finally having to face him and lose his title, or, he could fight a 37-year-old former champ coming off an ugly performance who was a shell of what they once were. Go figure.

Williams chose to fight Quintana in a voluntary when the WBO has instated Margarito as his mandatory. Williams refused the immediate rematch. Period.

Im not going to continue to argue with someone who denies facts and has a clear bias towards one side, its getting boring now.

@ people blatantly ignoring the fact that Tony did try to secure a rematch with Williams. The interest in a rematch was never there until Tony beat Cotto.

Not a clear bias whatsoever, I wasn't even big on PWill or Margs, just stating the facts chronologically. PWill was constantly chasing Margs and he was never somebody Margs wanted to fight... not even after he lost and had the opportunity to fight him since he was stuck on Cotto.

It's alright, you're from the UK. Boxing is just something you don't get. At least you have Champions and EPL.
