Because if he couldn't beat him with wrap once, he wouldn't win the second time, Paul was a beast at 147, no one fought him unless they had to. Cotto was a bigger payday, plus the Mexico-PR rivalry and Cotto was smaller and had late round stamina issues. Paul is too active for Margarito to win by decision.Comment

Why would he have a rematch when the Cotto fight was much bigger? Easier or not the Cotto fight was bigger and obviously if he won, he would be a big name. You don't become a huge name by beating Paul Williams. The Cotto/Margarito first fight had a strong gate and sold over 400,000 PPV buys. It would of been foolish to turn that fight down to avenge a loss.Comment
