It was an early sign of his well known weak chin.
So DLH got flash KD from fighting a guy in his own weight class.

Alvarez got rocked by a guy who spent most of his career fighting 3 weight classes below him.

Tell me how this compares and how it doesn't make my point even stronger about Alvarez's suspect chin.

Yeah, you on it. I'd be hoisting an extra beer if that happens. Sergio beats Jr., TKO in 10.

Flash knockdown? LOL he went down hard, got up and was still buzzed so he had to take a knee to clear the cobwebs. And that guy spent a large part of his career in the division below. That really exposed Oscar's suspect chin.

Did you even watch the whole video?

DLH came back and knocked the other guy down later in the same round. He didn't stagger backwards into the ropes like Alvarez did.

You're making yourself look silly here man.

Even if Oscar had been hurt by that KD, it would have at least come from a guy who had fought in that division, not 3 weight classes under.

No he didn't stagger, he went down twice which is worse.

Cotto had 3 fights above 140 before that one and it was Canelo's first fight above 147, I think there was a catchweight of 150. Last time Cotto fought at 135 was 3 years before that bout, you're making it sound like he jumped straight from 135 to 154 in one fight.

What fight are we talking about now? Not the one in that video surely.

Cotto was not only the smaller fighter but he was out of his comfort zone, with a 12 year age disadvantage and bloated to a weight he'd never been before?

I don't know what point you're trying to make now. Are you saying Cotto was a lot better than I'm giving him credit for? That I may agree with.
Doesn't change the fact that the guy was bloated and much smaller fighter than Alvarez, yet still managed to rock his world. Just admit it bro. That makes Canelo's chin suspect until tested by someone in his own weight class.

still, Martinez was the favorite in that fight and was supposed to win. He got his butt kicked.

Margarito DOES cut the ring off well. the other thing he does well is apply pressure. that is a good fight to bring up because IT HAPPENED. sure Martinez has learned from that fight but how do you explain Barker and Macklin catching him with straight rights and those fights going to the 11th round. for show? you really think Sergio was trying to bank in rounds to give the fans a show? he coulndt handle Margo because Margo was on him from the get go and didnt let up, and Jr knows what's up. Jr will bust those pipes. I see Martinez on the ropes.
