very good point. i still believe that Margarito would have been the only WW to give Mayweather problems. If chavez could take floyds punches Margarito would be able to walk through them as well. You cant beat mayweather with skill, hes got too much of it. Its gotta be straight pressure, will, and determination.

              Yeah, agreed.

Obviously the newer fans don't see these things.

It's a real entertaining fight aswell. Mayweather's inside work was beautiful.

It must be an amazing feeling to stand there against the ropes in that modified Philly Shell with your eyes open, and see the guy throwing punches and you KNOW that he can't land anything.

Look at Floyd against the ropes. Chavez is throwing, and Floyd is just watching and rolling. There was NO OPENING to land anything real.

                Damn, that's so good.

The mistake fighters make is to try to get Floyd on the ropes. Floyd is MORE comfortable on the ropes than in the middle of the ring.

Think about it: every time Floyd got hurt or buzzed in a fight, where did he quickly go?

Margarito at no point in his career would've given Floyd trouble. He didnt give Shane trouble, so what makes some of you think he gives Floyd trouble, lmao?

Good point. Floyd just slows you down with bodyshots and then out thinks you...hurt or not.

Ahhhhhh the fight where Lederman had Chavez ahead even though Chavez's corner stopped the fight because they were afraid Floyd was going to beat Chavez to death.

I don't think Floyd showed much vulnerability in that fight against a very quality fighter~
