On the subject of Ward, it's fair game what he said. But if Ward moves down to 160, he gets dawsoned. What Martinez is saying is that people need to forget about the fight because he's not moving up.
I neva seen da guy duck any fight. Da guy is bout ready to fight a boxa dat will outweigh him by 10 pounds at least on Saturday night in his own division. Dis Ward tinks people is gonna bend to his wants but he ain't da one fightin on PPV cards though.

Martinez should pull a Rid**** Bowe and throw that BS WBC belt in the garbage after he dismantles JR. There should be no loyalty there! Especially after Suilaman wrongfully took the belt from Sergio so that he could pretty much make JR the champion. Martinez is already the RING champion at middleweight. Suilaman just wants to be able to control who holds his belts and make their strap the new Lineal champ. Doubt Ward drops. Sergio should go back to 154 for Cotto, Mayweather, or Alvarez. Too many options...

I'm a big Ward fan but I have to admit this is true. All his major fights In Cali (Froch was in AC) Dawson coming down...it's true in all of his major fights he and Goosen have conceded nothing.

You seen dem pictchas of Chavez, da kid looked anarexic and starved. Dat will hurt da kid n da ring while Ward wouldn't have to sacrifice anything and come in a healthy 175 or more on fight night.

Martinez came in at 174 pounds on August 15th with Dr. Roger Anderson certified for his 30 day weight and was 167 pounds for his 7 day weight as posted on this site... Seems like he can make 168 just fine. Doesn't seem to blown up to me.

And fight the damn Aussie if you win. To hell with unify whoop his ass just cause... then drop the belts. You getting older Sergio you will never see Pac or FMJr money take what your non drawing ass can get.

Someone on his team should get him rosetta stone so he can learn english. If you can't speak english on a 24/7 type show or do interviews for american public then don't expect to many american fans. Ask cotto how much it helped his marketability after he learned english.
Chavez Jr., & Canelo don't speak any english....so no I don't think that has too much to do with it.

Martinez would seriously drop to 152 for Floyd or Pac?

He's be dead at that weight. Both would wipe the floor with him.

Martinez is pathetic - he criticizes Pacquiao for not fighting him, even though he's a middleweight and Pac is a welterweight, yet stringently refuses to fight Ward or indeed any super-middleweight.

              Talk about double standards.

If you beat Chavez, fight Golovkin. Forget about Mayweather, that's never going to happen.

Can Ward even make 160? I doubt it.

It sounds like Sergio won't be fighting Golovkin any time soon. Since he respects the WBC so much and GGG has one of the WBA belts.
