That was a horrible stoppage to me, but oh well, not much can be done now. Kind of fucked up to go through a tough training camp and get fucked over like that.
There is no standing 8 under the ABC rules, Harold reminds you every time. You musta watched too much Olympic boxing.

Compare this to the situation Karass was in against Jones in their first fight where he was actually getting ripped with hard clean punches, or how about Kirkland-Angulo where Kirkland was taking a serious beating, Molina wasn't anywhere near that kind of danger.

I too think it was a bad stoppage but not one to make a fuss about..He could have(the ref)easily giving him a standing 8 count..But it did not ruin my night was not the worse stoppage I've ever seen...

You don't expect a ref to have a better understanding than that though? Molina was rattled, it was early, he attempted to recuperate, I could understand if DeMarco's punches were getting through but that wasn't the case, they were all blocked/ half blocked. Honestly, it didn't look like a tough choice to make. I think most refs would have gotten it right and that was to let it continue.

I didn't like the stoppage, the guy wasn't getting hurt, but it's a tough call without the standing 8. Was kinda like Calzaghe Manfredo except Molina was in a compromised position. The ref gave him a little bit of time to do something. I think Molina's plan was to stay there until Demarco punched himself out. As you said, coulda been interesting like Jones Karass, but can't blame the ref, it's on Molina.

Inappropriate stoppage. But it was fitting. Molina was in too deep. If you listened closely enough you could almost hear him beggin for mama.

I would have preferred if Reiss had when Molina was bent down seperated them and berated Molina for bending down or Demarco for hitting behind the head just something too get him out then keep an eye on him but in saying that Molina has too take the blame if he was not badly buzzed he should have taken a knee.Bit annoying even though i felt Demarco woulda boxed his way too a decision it would have been exciting and as much as it is his fault i feel bad for Molina he trained hard and had a decent shot at winning but it wasn't too be
