I wanna say Chavez has a real chance to win this fight, but then I see he trains when he wants and really just doesn't seem to have the dedication it takes to win a fight. Let alone the biggest of his career, shiet Chavez Sr. looks more pumped about the fight than Jr. Either way I'm watching this fight over the Canelo one.

Uh have you seen Sergio Martinez fight? The guy doesn't even put his hands up. That is THE FIRST THING they teach you at the boxing gym. That is boxing 101. Those are the basics.

So even if JCC JR doesn't train at all, he is still ahead of Sergio Martinez.

This will be easy work for Chavez.

You mean he holds his hands like Ali Leonard and Mayweather , he got no chance then , ever heard the saying in boxing "speed kills" ?

Sergio has already shown that he can fuck his opponent up once he plants his feet and gets leverage, and it takes him less time to do it.
Martinez is NOT elusive in fact martinez has crappy defense he fights with his hands down thats a very bad mistake especially for an aging fighter like him.thats why on every fight he gets all busted up and even knocked down by career welterweights, This is a tossup fight but chavez has more advantages and sergio has far more liabilities than Chavez does all sergio has a is a deadly left hand, otherwise his defense sux, his ring generalship sux, and his punishment threshold isnt all that. Chavez is slowwer definitley but he actually has much better ring generlship thatn martinez has, just as roach has said for years now martinez is a great athlete hes not a good fighter.Chavez isnt afraid of this guy if you jump on him he can be stopped just like margs did, with right uppercuts and a relentless attck.martinez and his followers arent going to beleive their eyes.....

again martinez isnt elusive or even hard to hit, his hands speed is fast but little else, and ali and leanord didnt fight with their hands down ,mayweeather got his butt pummeled by Cotto so its not even working for him now that hes older, roy jones used to fight like that and look at what happened to him. Martinez gets hit a lot in every fight chavez can very well drill him. if martinez gets hit and busted up by medocre opposition like he has in his last 2 chavez can cetainly hurt him and stop him, speed isnt everything....Jr has a far better punch and boxing arsenal...

I just watched the Chavez-Lee fight and something really stood out. Junior has no jab. I bet he threw seven jabs the entire fight and at best they were lame. When Andy moved just a little he controlled the fight. His problem was he would stop and trade with Junior. I will say it again I was amazed that Junior has no jab. And if you don't believe me watch the fight, he throws so few jabs its real easy to count them. In fact I didn't even need all ten of my fingers and I still say Junior's power is overrated.

Exactly!!!! Sergio is having the best camp in his life. Why? Didn't he say Julio is crap?? Deep inside Sergio is scared.
