So if vitali had henry cooper in his era, a light heavyweight at best and got floored, would that be considered a weak or strong era???

Look at the unathletic bums jou louis fought...strong era???

TYSON BEAT WHOM exactly??trevor berbick??spinks??all guys the k bros would put in a bodybag..

lets face it, theyre not american, good looking and dont trash talk, hence why hbo and co have ignored them...

They aired the Klitschko Documentary on HBO this week, I think their slowly trying to reintroduce them to the American public.

The Klitschkos would have dominated any era, except the Lewis era, which they would all have shared victories over each other.

Emmanuel Stewart, Wladimir Klitschko's trainer, admitted that this is the worst era in heavyweight history.

Tyson dominated a weak era. However, the manner in which he dominated is why he gets praise.

Wladimir could be ripping apart most his opponents in a similar fashion but he just doesn't have the killer instinct. The three knockouts ruined him mentally.

And to a degree, being white doesn't help because there are a group of butt-hurt racists that hate seeing a white guy win.

I am a fan of both Kbros. I do feel that they would have been champions in any era. I don't know you or your motives (hopefully you don't have any) but I will attempt to make my post as clear as possible.

I just want to use Wladimir K as a example.
Can current PRIME Wladimir beat Tommy Morrison, Razer Ruddock, Frank Bruno, Rid**** Bowe and say Andrew Golota?

I say yes. CURRENT PRIME Wlad beats all of them h2h. The issue with this is if Wladimir had been in the 90's era, a green Pre-Manny Stewart version of Wladimir would have had to fight through the likes of Ruddock and Bruno. There is a chance Wlad would never have progressed to the level that he is at now if he had to go through a tougher list of 2nd tier Heavyweights.

Wladimir went through a long growing process that made him into the ATG that he is today. The process was helped by the fact the 2nd Tier guys he fought in the 2000's were much easier then the 2nd tier guys of the 90's.

After Purrity, Sanders and Brewster Wladimir was all but gone, his career defining shatter point came via the 1st Samuel Peter fight where he showed the heart of a true champion.
If he was in the 90's era, that Samuel Peter would have been a Rid**** Bowe instead. Can Current Wlad beat Prime Bowe? Yes he can.
Can the Wlad of 2006 beat a early 1990's Bowe? Not a chance. He would have been stopped. It would have been much harder for Wladimir to bounce back in a tougher era.

It is all meaningless though because Wladimir right now is an ATG and h2h is top 10 all time. Resume wise he will soon be top 10 All Time as well.

P.S Tyson was and still is over rated.

The Klitschko's are for real, but this era of heavyweights (other than the bros) is really weak.

Let's be real here. If Wladimir with his personality and his style of boxing is a African-American.

He will be the HW Andre Ward. He will be fighting in front of 6,000 people and nobody will know who he is outside of hard cores. He will be in a even WORST spot then Ward because at least Ward got competition from 168-175.

The fact that Wlad is a EASTERN EUROPEAN and fights in Germany saved him. He now make millions and fight in front of sell out 40,000+
