Pac Forced Cotto down to defend his own title , Cotto was also leaned on by Arum to accept the deal ,,,,

All of the Pac CWs have nothing near the same scenario as Chad and Andre except Oscar .

Stop throwing numbers if you dont understand thats its not the number but how the individual can represent that number at the time , not years ago , lets see Manny today make 135 even 140 will hurt him today , very few on this forum have a clue about the effects of weight , most fanboys only see a number .
You really are a hater, it was a non-title fight ******, that's why WBC invented the diamond belt specifically for this fight!!! Pac never forced Cotto for the fight, Pac initially want's it at 143-144lbs. with Cotto's WW belt on the line, BUT Cotto declined then they finally settled for 145lbs. with no belt, it was all for the money and Cotto was never at a disadvantage for this fight...

It was for the WBO WW title that Cotto won in the Jennings fight and it was on the line for Pac , how do you get non title fight ? , and Manny forced him to 145 or it was NO FIGHT , now thats called intellectual pressure , same boss Arum leaned on Cotto to accept it , Cottos leaves Arum and Manny has since refused to fight Cotto without a CW , you dont have to be Einstein to see through the Pac BS .

Totally different to Ward Dawson , and dont call hater just because the facts are stated .

I'm confused, because some of the same people who're saying weight had nothing to do with Ward's victory are the same ones who say Pacquiao only won certain fights because he drained people.
It was only like a week or two ago the boards were filled with Pacquiao and his draining tactics.
The difference is, Pac won titles like that. Pac is a former 154 lbs champion, yet he refuses to fight at that weight.

Man Pac-Cotto was BS because it was only put in to hurt Cotto. Period. I mean come on Pac fought Oscar at 147 but he cant fight Cotto at 147. Bytch move.

Why have it at all? Think about it. What was the point?

Ward deserves more credit because he took on the #1 ranked guy at Light Heavyweight and another p4p ranked boxer. Plus Dawson wasn't coming off a brutal, career-changing loss like Hatton, Cotto, Margarito and Mosley were.

No he doesn't deserve more credit he took on the number ranked guy at 175 at 168, he should have took Dawson on for his 175 title, fighting a guy ranked number 1 at 175 but in your own lower division is not the same.

If Dawson was ranked number 1 on the p4p list it would be different.

I still think Ward beats Dawson at 175, but this is not a good look should have fought for Dawsons belt so people can't take anything away from his win and fight a healthy dawson.

I'd like you to tell me who are these (both) fighters that wanted to come down in weight 1st & foremost.

cotto and Dawson. Nobody made them, if they didn't want to they could have turned down the fight.
