You dont know why Don King does what he does anymore than I do. you asked why King hasn't matched Golota against Wlad. Well one reason is that Wlad is already booked to face either Brewster or Byrd early next year.

Valuev already is champion. Obviously you dont pay much attention to boxing in general to be ignorant of that fact. Andrew Golota has fought consistantly against the highest level of opposition for years now. The dive he took against Brewster means nothing, he is still a force in the Heavyweight Divison primed to wrest the World Boxing Association Heavyweight Title away from Valuev.
