It just seems a little too convenient man. I hate how king works everything in his favor. U know he is dirty. Golota hasn't been good, with the exception of the chris byrd fight, for years. hang em up

You could of just edited that rather than making a worthless correction post. Anyway, Golota is a legitimate opponenet as any for Valuev to defend the World Boxing Association Heavyweight Championship against. Just because Golota took a dive against Brewster does not mean anything.

He scored a draw against Chris Byrd. A fight in which any non bias observer would have to have think he won and was robbed against John Ruiz. Golota is a force in the heavyweight divison and deserving of a title shot as anybody else. Props to the Promoters Don King and Sauerland for putting this fight on the table.

the only reason I coul even fathom golota being referred to as a force is because the heavyweight division has been in shambles for fa too long. He's a c level fighter at best

If that is so, than why did he destroy the linear heavyweigt Champion Rid**** Bowe twice in 1995 and 1996 respectively. Particularly in the second fight which took place in 1996.

You will say as a bias observer that Bowe was not in shape. Not true at all, Bowe was at 235 pounds. The exact same weight he fought Holyfield at in the first fight in which he won descively, knocking Holyfield down I believe twice, dominating thoroughly.

He only threw a few low blows. Enough to disqualify him yes. Still, Golota dominated the hell out of the linear heavyweight champion twice low blows or not. Hardly a C level fighter as you put it could produce such an accomplishments.

Is the Heavyweight division in a somewhat weak state? Yes, hence even old Golota is a force to reckoned with and a definite threat to Valuev.
