So him fighting Cotto was wrong? Who the **** looked at that fight and said "man Im sick of Floyd fighting blown up fighters". No one did. Hell even in alot of those fights he didnt even weigh at the limit.

Cotto is not a true light-middle though.

Of course you are going to get fighters move up through the weight, but what is strange about this is that Floyd seems not to fight guys who started off at that weight.

Hatton already had a title at 147 and walks around in between fights heavier than Floyd. Hatton is a completely different situation than what Floyd had done to JMM. However seeing that JMM held is own (to say the VERY least) vs Pac at the very same weight proves that he is not as bad as people made him out to be. Even now Pac will demand the 4th fight to be at WW. Wouldn't be surprised if it's not even at a catchweight.

Hatton walked around heavier than Floyd 'cause he blew up to 200lbs off roast dinners and pints of beer.



Hatton may have had a belt at 147 but he had no business at that weight, physically his peak was 140.

Floyd will never give up 4" s in reach and height which is why I give Pac a lot of credit for fighting Oscar and Margarito even at a catch weight. My 91 year old uncle was calling Floyd a ducker back in 99 and 2000 cause he ducked Freitas and Casamayor when they were all superfeatherweight champions. I really thought Floyd would fight Williams in 2007 after he beat Oscar but instead he made Hatton come up to Welterweight.
