His defense has improved on it's own. It's not just his chin. He's smarter in the ring than he gets credit for. He out-experienced Bradley with his angles and clever defense. His defense was also solid in the Marquez 3 fight. He only got hit with single shots and nobody seemed to give him credit for it. They only can say how they think he lost.
Correct, Pac has gotten very good at rolling punches and blocking them with his arms and shoulders :

Confidence is a good thing, not overconfidence. If you think you're a P4P great when you're just a B+ fighter, you're not gonna work hard to correct your flaws, you won't even be aware that you have many flaws. Khan thinks he has one of the best chins in boxing = doesn't hold and fights back when he's hurt. Overconfidence is a recipe for disaster.

so... he got counter punched. which is what you do to an offensive fighter. Pacquiao gets counter punched all the time.

Jumping in and throwing bunches of pitty pat punches before jumping back out is not my definition of a good offensive fighter. He is predictable, amateur-ish and easy to time.

            Khan has great speed....that's it.

the best offensive fighters can throw every punch in the book...their offense is usally hard to read so that makes it hard to stop....the best offensive fighters know EXACTLY which punches to throw and WHEN to throw them...the BEST offensive fighters won't get KO'd being offensive...they'll get beat up doing what they DON'T do best....trying to defend!!....the best offensive fighter is not going to throw a 1990 Buster Douglass uppercut from Telegraphed City like that...NO!!!

                  Pac has a nice offense.

                  Khan does not.

Neither one of them have the best offensive arsenal in boxing.

uhh.... Manny's defense is much better than Khan's because of his footwork. Lol @ saying he's right, delusional people here. Anyone who thinks Khan has the best or even close to the best offense is blind - what is Khan basing this on? Throwing fast flurries?

And both are some of the worst defensive fighters in the world too.
