Look at the 3rd round, Khan was totally outclassed prior to the knockdown. Garcia killed the body & the glass neck followed.
He's a faster, more athletic fighter. He's clearly got more potential than Danny Garcia does, but I'd agree with you that at the moment at least he's not a better fighter.

He came out fast and at times overwhelmed Garcia with his speed, but he fought a completely ****** fight and his defense is seriously lacking. Even though he won the first two rounds, you could definitely see problems for him in the way Garcia was occasionally landing pretty solid shots in exchanges.

Khan has some obvious problems with sticking to gameplans and following instructions, though. He needs to work on that just as much as he needs to think about a trainer better suited for him. Roach told him to tie Garcia up in the fourth, and what did he do? Pointed to his chin and fought like an imbecile.

He's got big potential. He's obviously athletically gifted and very fast. But he needs to work on his defense and change his style up quite a bit. His defense is too lacking and his chin too fragile to try to do what he does. Also, if I were his team I'd just stop putting him in with KO punchers. That doesn't fix anything but talk about a dumb team he has.

Amir can do well if he boxes in the right way - he's not made for standing and trading with his chin in the air, he needs somebody like manny Stewart to Wladize him

It's probably true that Steward would be a good match for him, but I don't see him going with Steward since he seems to think his trainer should be 100% focused on him.

Amir is simply a limited talent. Not everyone is meant to become an ATG or even be at HOF level

Well I don't know but I feel he'll get a new trainer and win a couple of fights, perhaps look very good in one or two of them get another world title in the process and then get a bit too ****y and full of himself again and get KTFO a third time ... he may go as much as 3 or 4 and 0 in his next few before that happens.

he's too young to be written off completely
get him a new trainer and keep him away from punchers for a while
if he can delay a move to WW, do it, JWW is better for him
you can't fix a chin, but you can learn defense and infighting
Khan isn't done just yet, but if he gets iced again, maybe so

I don't believe Stewart is a good fit for Khan..He needs someone to teach him a good defense..Stewart does not really teach a good defense, just teaches how to fight tall...But somebody will get in on Khan and make him resort back to running and taking big punches...I really believe Shields is the best fit for Khan...Khan has a bunch of Flaws, but with the right trainer he can patch them up..IMO Stewart is not the guy...

Anyway can change, it's not gonna be easy though. He has to understand that his punch resistance is very low. He has to protect that chin. Which means he's gonna have to learn how to box from the outside and get little inside game for those tough situations.

Khan will never become good, the kid is too pig-ignorant to see his flaws.

Too pigheaded to accept any responsibility & this is mainly attributed to how he has been handled & pampered.

People can go on about his handspeed forever, reality is handspeed & careful matchmaking alone can only get you so far.

Its you Amir Khan fans that did this. You are responsible for his delusions!
You can say he will bounce back like he did after the Prescott defeat and he will, he will beat more guys who are absolutely no threat what so ever, we'll have to put up with your rubbish all over again & as soon as he fights a live dog, he'll get slaughtered once again.

Amir, his team, his family & more importantly, his fans need to realise not everybody can be an elite talent & Amir Khan will never be an elite fighter.
