people who think hopkins won base it on the fact that he outlanded calzaghe by a wide margin in most of the rounds. very sensible reasoning. you think calzaghe won because he came forward and hit air a lot. not very sensible.

Doesn't matter how long it's been what does that mean? People will always talk about robberies when old fights are brought up. It's not like I made the thread. And by the way you will find thousands of threads on this site about how hand picked Joes career was and how much he slapped and got hometown decisions. That will never change because it's true and part of his legacy forever.

I still believe that Sugar Ray lost to Hagler but I never let it eat a hole through me like most Bhop fans seem to let happen with Joe. And I might have even agreed with you if it was in fact a robbery but it wasn't a robbery. And if you don't think that it was even a close fight, then you are the one being as you said delusional. And when it is all said and done Joe's legacy will be enough that he will be enshrined in Canastoga NY and you will just simply have to accept that fact. Or I guess you can stay angry as daggum seems to be.

As a Welshman and a Joe fan I should jump in and defend him. But no I genuinely LOLed at that! Funny stuff.

yeah but in the leonard-hagler fight both guys were landing punches. it's just a matter of whose you liked better and how you scored the other intangibles. in hopkins calzaghe calzaghe wasn't landing so it's tough to say he won.

It's not that tough to say Joe won, because he won. See, I told you it wasn't tough to do.
