Cotto(born in the U.S.) mom and dad Rican, Danny(born in the U.S.) mom and dad Rican, Dulorme mom and dad not Rican and he wasn't even born in Puerto Rico. That makes Cotto and Danny more Rican than Durlome will ever be.

Danny being Rican and the #1 guy at 140 makes him "the best current Puerto Rican fighter outside of Cotto".

But Danny Garcia has never set foot in PR(correct me if I'm wrong). He's more puerto rican than Dulorme genetically but Dulorme has been living in the country for years and embraces the culture.

I get it, a guy who "considers" himself Rican is more Rican than a guy with 2 Rican parents.

garcia was raised in Philadelphia in a PR neighborhood. cotto was raised in PR.

garcia is an american of PR descent. if PR wants to claim him they are more than welcome

cotto is a puerto rican. his family members dont speak english. he grew up in pr culture, eating PR food and going to PR schools, etc. that's how you establish an identity.
