I think anyone who didn't know it would be Cotto at a catchweight again kind of had blinders on. He was always option #1 and JMM was option #2......the Bradley rematch wasn't even an option

The ONLY reason they want to fight Cotto again is so Pacquiao can repeat what he did in their first meeting, so his camp can say - look how bad Pacman beat Cotto after Floyd "struggled" with him. Their own man agrees to the terms then they use that as an excuse when he gets his azz whipped...besides do u really think 4 pounds is gonna save him?Pac makes the terms because he draws the numbers

Cotto maybe at 151 because he tried to get Margo at that weight. But why the Pac insists on a CW with Cotto is beyond me.

Bradley gave a good account of himself and didn't get beat up, he showed a lot of guts so the Pac camp might be reluctant to take that fight. Pac won that fight and it makes the least financial sense.

Another Marquez fight will be the same result: a close fight. Who ever is affected more by their aging is going to lose the 4th fight

pac can't make 154 or close to it comfortably (pac is a naturally smaller guy)...only reason they want this fight is because of money.

Cotto agrees because he'll be getting millions.

If the 4lbs didn't make a difference, Pacquiao would fight him at 154. Pac not fighting without a catchweight would suggest he does indeed think those 4lbs make a difference. If he thought he could beat Cotto without a catchweight, he'd fight him without one.

Mayweather couldn't make 154 either, he still fought at that weight though.

No way for Roach to weasel out of saying 150 catchweight. If he tries and says "Oh no, I meant 154" then clearly the Parkinsons has caught up to him and he needs to quit soon before he says something that damages his fighters, and if he means what he said about 150, then its clear that they feel that in order to win the fight, they need to have an advantage.

Maybe they will end up fighting Guerrero, he's hurting for money and would totally jump on that chance.
