Why does there always have to be a catchweight with Cotto

Manny is part of whole deal because if I am not mistaken a few weeks before Manny vs Hatton was supposed to fight meaning contracts were already signed Manny said he wasn't fighting unless he got more money. Now with a threat like that and with what we know about how Arum, do you think those are the actions of a man who is not in on and very instrumental to what is going on?I can understand that position. I have tried to give manny the benefit of the doubt but it's hard to do that as events keep unfolding. I hope manny is not a part of this charade. I'm sure he isn't oblivious to what is going on around him but it seems like he won't really speak up.
The jig is has been up and the people are no longer being played they are just happy to go along with whatever these dudes say its just that simple.Comment

In debating with Pacman supporters I always get hung up on that question. It seems 90% of his fans believe that Pacman doesn't need 1 to beat Cotto, but still support Pacman as he keeps asking for 1. I find that funny & weird at the same time.Comment

This has a lot to do with Bob Arum having an agenda.
Ever since the catchweight Cotto fight back in 2009, Pac hasn't accomplished anything.. it's ironic that Bob in 2012 is going back to a Cotto fight at a catchweight.Comment

I used to like Roach, now I'd almost like to punch him in his face just for fun. Let's not fight the guy that we "got ripped off" against, instead let's fight the 154 pound fighter we already beat to a pulp at a catchweight of 150.
I think Roach knows that in a rematch against Bradley, Pac gets embarrassed.Comment

I feel u. This feels kinda weird to me cuz it looks like defending manny lol. I see now that arum has been saying its pac's choice every chance he gets after all that time PAC said its up to his promoter. They just have so much conflicting info goin on in that camp that it's hard to tell what's real. Which is they would like it I guess.Manny is part of whole deal because if I am not mistaken a few weeks before Manny vs Hatton was supposed to fight meaning contracts were already signed Manny said he wasn't fighting unless he got more money. Money game man. Even though a rematch would be great, it would make the least amount of moneyI used to like Roach, now I'd almost like to punch him in his face just for fun.
