I love the tall rangy fighter archetype and I think he and arguello personify it to the highest degree hearns as well but he just didn't have the great chin of the other two. they font make fighters like that anymore for some reason. instead we get Chad Dawsons, who really isn't bad but isn't great, and guys like Margarito and Paul Williams.

Greb, Monzon, Robinson, Hagler, and Hopkins are my Top 5 MW's.

Greb and Robinson are both Top 10 ATG's to me. Hagler and Hopkins are around Top 30 or so to me.

Monzon is around the Top 20-25 to me.

          That sounds awesome!

After all the big names like Ali, Liston, Frazier etc, Monzon was the first fighter I followed properly whilst being old enough to understand what was going on

lol, the guy was definitely some fighter. he was quite Edwin Valero in the head outside the ring tho. in fact the two share a lot of similarities as far as their stories go. and both were of native american ancestry too.

what sucks is that the two missed each other at the top by a few years. that would have been some fight. they respected each other a lot tho
