Floyd would get no credit for fighting Maravilla at 150, even though Maravilla was the one who mentioned the weight.
150??we are talking 160 here for the lineal 160 title..that would be the only purpose of this fight

He has been for awhile, more so mayble since it's become clear he isn't going to get Pacquiao. Mayweather vs Martinez at 160 would be great, would rather see that then Mayweather vs Pacquiao.

Cotto. He, himself, has said he's looking for big $ fights to close out his career. Other than Canelo (Who will most likely face Mayweather if he doesn't fight Cotto first), what other big $ fights are out there for him? Martinez coming off of a win against the undefeated son of a Mexican legend would certainly sell. He's also made it clear he has no issue going down to 154.

I would love to see it Larry but I have a hard time believing it ever happens. I'm hope I'm wrong and would gladly eat crow if it happens.

I have no problem with that fight at 154 but you know the trolls will be out in full force saying Floyd drained Martinez if it happens at that weight lol.

The statement was pretty funny, wanting to prove himself as the best fighter pound for pound by fighting a fighter two divisions south. What about fighting Ward, Froch or Dirrell?

That being said a Mayweather v Martinez match is what I'd like to see. If Floyd could get a win over Martinez at Middleweight he strengthens his status as an ATG.

In that context he was referring to the p4p list... thats why he said he wont stop until hes #1

Man that would be vicious as hell if Floyd grab a title at 160.

I'd like to see this fight. I think Sergio's style is all wrong for Floyd tho. But again , we're talking about Floyd Mayweather here , he always finds a way to win .
