Why don't you tell me how many times you've seem Mormeck fight? And agaisnt whom?

    Simple question.
I've seen 3 Mormeck fights. I may not be an expert on him, but i'm not completely uninformed.

You've got no patience for anyone who disagrees with you, in fact you're a very immature fellow indeed. I didn't slag off Mormeck, i've just stated what a lot of people think about him and the cruiserweight division. Just because it disagrees with your views doesn't mean that you have to slap me down. You show the classic characteristics of a spoilt brat who just doesn't seem to have the social skills or upbringing to comprehend the opinions of another person.

Which fights of his did you see?

Save your dramatics. This is a message board, and when I see someone's 'opinion' that I feel is either uninformed or ignorant (I found yours to be a bit of both) I call it out.

If you don't like it, I heard Martin his a cheery and plesent boxing site.

This thread has quickly become a joke. Haye looked great in his fight last night, but his opponent is chinny.

He's being hyped after accomplising very little, and comments about how it should be "No problem for him to unify Cruiser" or "The Cruiserwight division is very weak and Mormeck isn't very good" is pure ignorance.

The top 3 Cruiserweights would be a formidable challenge for Haye. Mormeck and Jones can both **** and have great chins. Cunningham takes a great shot and has shown supurb skill. Even guys outside that in Bratihwaite and Bell would be a tough challenge for a young fighter like Haye.

You having a good time, Beowulf? Bozo strikes again... why ANYONE wants to debate with him is beyond me, as there's no such thing as "pleasant pugilistic discourse" in his eyes... he's just downright ****ing rude for no reason. Give it a few more posts and he'll say he's "upsetting" you... he just doesn't get it, does he?

I don't get why you should go to Martin's site if you don't like it though. Why not just stay here and debate with someone who's got a little bit of maturity and manners?

The guy couldn't upset an wobbly apple cart, but just can't understand people aren't interested in being insulted... and have a right to talk boxing without abuse from a stuck record.

Leave it and put him on ignore, Beo... you're just wasting your time, mate. Leave the guy to his silky sheets in peace.

No one in the history of this site is more rude, immature, and usless than you Anorak.

If anyone was to question that all they need to do is look at the Thunderdome, and the thousands of posts and countless hours and tens of thousands of words you've spewed in that fourm flaming, crying and bitching about other posters.

It's astonishing that someone who's apparetnly in their 30s could be so immature and spend that much time and effort crying and complaining about others in the name of sheer uslessness.

At least I talk about boxing. Every second of your life you've wasted in that forum talking about sheer non sense speaks volumes about you and your utter lack of character.

          - - -

And when I was speaking about this non sense in this thread, it all started here:

I'm not overdramatising really, you can be a very difficult (childlike and autistic seem as good a couple of descriptions as any) person to interact with on this site (as others can testify). You do however have very good boxing knowledge (definately more than most users of this site). Lets just leave it at that.

I have seen a few recent fights: Braithwaite, Gurov and his first fight against Hill (I saw a French commentary version that I got off the net). Unfortunately I can't review those fights again as I had to replace the hard drive I put them and many other files on.

Haye only really has a puncher's chance against Mormeck, Jones and Nelson. But he sure is a hell of a puncher, so has more of a chance than most.

Braithwait imo is the biggest puncher at Cruiserweight. He just doesn't have the agility and punch resistance.

Wheather Haye's the same callibur puncher remains to be seen, but with the way he was rocked agaisnt Thompson, that leaves many question marks, and as much as you or anyone wants to write off the current state of the Cruiserweight division, it's filled with big guys that can punch.

A fight with Braithwaite or Dale Brown should be Haye's next move.

Brown isn't as dangerous a puncher as Braithwait, but he's an excellent measuring stick of where a Cruiserweight is at. He beat Oneil Bell in that last fight.

Regardless, Cruiser has a lot more depth than is being made out in this thread, and I think it remains to be seen how Haye would fair agaisnt parrenial contenders, nevermind the top fighters in the division.

Haye is probably at least as big a puncher as Braithwaite, he just doesn't seem to have the stamina. Gurov was pretty much a contender and Haye wiped him out. I think he could also lay out anyone inclined to trade, if he sorted out his stamina. Its the iron chinned and more elusive fighters who Haye has to worry about. Only Mormeck and Nelson would be people i'd definately back against Haye (Jones, Braithwaite and Cunningham are pretty much pick'ems).

                  I stongly disagree.

All of those fighters have faced better compeition than Haye.

Gurov is the best opponent Haye's ever beaten, and he's been stopped several times before, also very early in the fight.

That's not a good measuring stick at all.

To say that Haye would be in a pickem fight with Guillermo Jones (coming off wins over Braithwaite and Davis, a draw with Nelson), Steve Cunningham (win over Jones) and Braithwaite is very premature at this point givin who he's beaten (and who he's lost to) at this point.

I guess i'm just buying into Haye's power. I just think he has the power to KO anyone. I don't think Braithwaite has the speed or chin to cope with the power of Haye. I think Cunningham vs Haye would be a great prospect match up and only a pick'em in as much as Haye has a big, big chance early on and can end the fight before it has really begun, Cunnuingham of course has a much bigger chance than Haye to win after 5 rounds.

As soon as I see Haye step up and win a semi meaningfull fight, I might think that's fair.

To me the biggest question in a Haye Braithwaite fight is "can Haye take a puch from Braithwaite"?

I still think Big Truck is the bigger puncher, and I've seen Haye screwed up in with Thompson.

A fight between Haye and someone a few pegs up from Gurov would be a good step before I start hearing about how fights agaisnt top 5 Cruiserweights are pickem fights.
