How will Haye do if he steps up to heavy as touted? Luckily for him at present he's in quite a shallow pool so the possibility of a world title in the Cruiserweight division (or even unifying) doesn't look like any kind of tall order.

i would wait until hes got at least 20 fights under his belt before he gets a title shot. this kid is something special, so lets not spoil him too soon. hes got a lot of learning to do.

Yeah, I'm going off his own words. Did you get to see the interview afterwards? He said he walks around 20lbs over the cruiser limit so only has about 4 - 5 fights left at the weight before moving up. He said he wants to clean up the division before moving to heavy.

Thompson's underrated and Haye wasn't training hard then... he got gassed after bombing Thompson for two rounds solid. I think he's learnt from the experience... and Thompson CAN ****.

              Umm,

I think the Frenchman in my Avatar might have something to say about that.

If Haye steps in the ring with Mormeck (who will soon posess all 3 major straps at Cruiser) he will get a beating that will make the shalacking he took from Carl Thompson in that 5th round seem like tea time.

heh heh. yes, mormeck would maul haye like there was no tomrw. which is why i suggested that haye take his time, get more fights and experience before he goes for a title shot.

Haye should look at a fight with Kelvin Davis or Dale Brown. That's a step in the right direction.

Mormeck would **** him, and even Braithwaite may be a tall order for him at this point, although a match with Haye and the Big Truck would be explosive!

man david haye has crazy power....the guy got tonnes of potential - just needs to stay disciplined and get the wegiht down and train properly

any1 kno wat the "mental issues" were which he was talking about in the interview? was it lack of discipline?
