Haye's chin is not good, whether it mental issues or weight drain. He has showed serious fraility against decent but not concusive punches.
I believe the next step should be Thompson. Carl can fall apart at times and at his age its bound to be possible even for Haye to push him over the edge.

I don't think he can be a world champion. He may WIN a title but he'll never be dominant long enough to secure any long term regconition for it.

Chins that susceptable don't repair due to an extra protein shake or training method. Haye is designed that way. He can be an undisputed champion, however, only if every fighter in the division punched like Chris Byrd.

You obviously don't know very much about many Cruiserweights.

Mormeck would be a big test but thats as far as it goes, just a test

Haye was handed a gift when he was beat by thompson

he wont make the same mistake again.

I think he would ko mormeck and hope he is given the chance to do so.

Did you see Braithwait vs Mormeck?

Braithwaite is a HUGE puncher, and he literally teed off on Mormeck's head and chin for round after round and he didn't even dent it.

I wouldn't even be putting in Haye with the likes of Guillermo Jones yet.

There's nothing worse than blatent overhyping of a young fighter.

I think Nelson would be a big test for Haye, Nelson knows how to outpoint big hitters and would be evasive.

Mormeck would be difficult too. He is fairly relentless and has a good chin. Mormeck will beat Bell and be "undisputed", but will probably be the worst undisputed champion in any division for some years (and that includes Corey Spinks). Mormeck is still a very good fighter and would probably beat Haye. It wouldbe great to see Haye spark him out though.

Every now and then I admit I am sometimes quick to hype up a young fighter, I think this one is worth the hype

I firmly believe that Haye is one of them guys who has what it takes to go to the top

I suppose I just think Mormeck is a good fighter in a fairly awful division. He has seized his chances well, but he is someone that I don't really see greatness in.
