    No.

Ward is in a great position, Goosen got him into the Super Six as basically an unknown and he's now one of the P4P best and well known fighters in the sport. He's in a good spot and given he's not a big talker or attention seeker, he's not going to get much bigger, no matter who promotes him.

I said MEANINGFUL FIGHT ON HBO.. of course hes had meanignful fights you idiots.. Reading comprehension, use it.. READ! Lens Crafters, theyll have your **** ready in a hour.

      HBO >>>>>>>>>>>> SHOWTIME

and it isnt even close.. Most people dont even know there was a super six..

Golden Boy would have Lampley and company ****riding Ward to the point where people would think Ward was the greatest fighter ever..

I mean look at bum ass jermaine taylor, Lampley was pretty much worshipping him.. As well as Cotto and every other HBO favored fighter..

I mean Berto has had several fights on HBO for goodness sake and he hasnt fought ANYONE.. And I GUARANTEE you Broner AND Berto makes more money than Ward per fight, fighting bums while Ward fights elites..

ITS ABOUT MONEY PEOPLE.. Golden Boy and Haymon would fill Wards pockets better than Goosen..

Very true, the Super 6 wasn't known outside of hardcore fans.

And I don't think promoting should stop at negotiations, Batt. Getting to fight in your hometown and getting the weight class you want is good negotiating, not promoting.

Like I asked before, where's Goosen's interviews hyping up Andre Ward as a great fighter, calling him the best, saying he'd beat anybody around 160-175? Schafer, DLH, Bob Arum would be hyping this guy up so hard, he'd be top 3 P4P in The Ring based off popularity, like Pacquiao. #5 P4P behind Martinez and Donaire, despite beating much better fighters than Barker, Macklin, Dzinzuruk, Mathebula, Vazquez, Narvaez in his past 5 fights.

Kessler, Green, Bika, Abraham, Froch: #5 P4P? That actually warrants at least #2 behind Floyd.

I wonder if GB/TR/TMT have made any offers to Ward, he's definitely the type of talent you'd want to have in your stable.

Maybe Ward is loyal to Goosen, and that's why he hasn't left him for one of the big companies.

I don't think he should leave him. Goosen has done a great job of helping to the top and getting him home town advantage. Ward is not exciting like Floyd or Broner. I doubt anyone could have promoted him better than Goosen. He should stay loyal to him in my opinion.

NO! Ward fame is growing slowly but surely, First Fight on HBO, will be featured on a HBO 24/7 Episode, a win over Dawson especially if it is a good fight, will grow his fame EVEN MORE! So it is really no need to change PROMOTERS!

goosen dow not have the financial backing or influence with the networks to get him to the very top of the sport in terms of his earning potential

will goosen tutor ever promote by themselves a ppv quality event?
of course not. it's out of his league.

along those lines andre ward's financial ceiling may have been reached.

i do think that goldenboy promotions or top rank would do a much better job in turning him into a ppv star and a crossover attraction.

you need a push to do that, just like the ones canelo, broner, and chavez jr are getting right now.

Most likely will leave to join a real player at some point. Just gotta honor whatever he owes Goosen for the time being.

I mean Ward is JUST NOW, fighting a meaningful fight on HBO PPV.. This should have happened several years ago..

I think if Ward were with Top Rank or especially Golden Boy Ward would be a household name already. Instead if Ward went to the mall NO ONE would know who he is outside of a handful of people.. I mean compare Broner at 23 vs Ward at 23, Broner is MUCH more popular.. But anyway, good luck to Ward vs Dawson, I hope.

Maybe Im overestimating TP and GB, who knows. But I think Ward is a 1 of a kind type of fighter.. I think Floyd, Ward and maybe even Broner are special..
I don't think Ward would have fared any better with the other promoters as Goosen has been able to focus a majority of his efforts on the handful of fighters he has. Keep in mind Ward is not managed by Al Haymon and he has a great home base in Oakland. Golden Boy may have been able to provide deeper undercards for Ward but for a low key, highly technical boxer with not much power I would say Ward is right where he wants to be. He makes 2-3 million dollars a fight, look at Dirrell he's broke and last fought for 25K

                      bingo

this all depends on a contract that he likely signed before the super six.

the terms of these deals are never disclosed. sometimes they make their way into the public, but it's not a good thing for the promotors.

i'm sure he'll entertain all offers as soon as he's a free agent.
