From what I've seen Dawson will be too much for Ward, but Dawson has shown mental weaknesses. Ward is definitely mentally stronger, but Dawson is so gifted and skilled that usually makes up for his mental lapses.
The only fast fighter Dawson fought beat him.

I love underdogs & Dawson has given so much away in this fight I really hope he does it just to stuff it to 'the man' (I am not anti Ward. Just in this bout.)
Me too, BUT Dawson has a 5 and a half inch reach advantage plus his speed, (anybody that thinks Ward is faster needs to die) and height, add supreme boxing skills and BOOM you have a fighter to beat Ward, it's the same with May, IMO , i Think Lara or Martinez (more lara) would beat mayweather or have a good chance , because YOU DONT COUNTER ERISLANDY LARA and he hits hard enough to hurt Floyd(BTW I am a FLOYD FAN), he can be beat and A really really great Cotto ( my Favorite) shoed that but Pacman? no! never! Canelo? in a fe years might have me worried

And this is what will make the difference, he'll find a way to win because that's what he does.

Ward hasn't lost a fight since he was 12. That's nothing short of amazing. Shame he's such a boring person. Just can't see Chad taking this. He's lucky its at 168, he gets to fight for a title without risking his own and if he loses people will say he was drained or whatever, so not much risk.

My sentiments exactly. This is a calculated risk on Dawson's part, he knows the situation that he's gotten himself into. You even got fans saying he has all the advantages lol. I'm surprised that Ward is getting underestimated.

Watching Dawson Pascal again, I really think Ward is gonna do a number on Chad.

But I thought boxing was dead? This is a great fight for boxing fans. I am not sure how Chad thinks he is an underdawg with every advantage or how Vegas has his at 1/3 50/50 if u ask me. Can Chad fight on the inside? will that reach be an actual disadvantage? Will he keep the rate up in every round? Froch might actually hit a bit harder than Chad but the overall slickness is lower as well for Cobra. Andre looked pretty good there in Super 6, he might be one of the most consistent fighters out there. These are the best Americans in their prime (outside of Money).

Dawson will give ward problems but ultimately Ward wins a close competitive decision.
