At 154, Miguel Cotto can beat Pacquiao if Manny doesn't press him for the full 3 minutes like he did vs Bradley.

I know it's hard to give Bradley credit for some of you...But Pac looked like he was taking the rd off because he had to deal with Bradley footwork..Not because he really wanted to take off the early part of the rd..Cotto does not have the same footwork and he does not have the mental toughness to sustain that kinda game plan..He has yet to show me he can hold up 12 rds against an top level opponent with 1 game plan...Cotto would get hit and the game plan would go out the window..Let's be honest,Cotto is not a thinking mans fighter..

When Cotto rematched his punisher did he not insist on fighting at a catchweight of 153lb.

Pacquiao has only put down the terms of the fight, if Cotto doesn't like it he has the option of walking away and fighting an actual 154lb fighter.

So a borderline great (if that) fighter asking the man that 1st destroyed him for a catchweight is compatible to the supposed greatest active fighter asking a man he brutally destroyed for 1?? Really??

You all keep saying ("well Cotto doesn't have to accept it"). Why don't you say, " If Manny won't man up & fight the guy when he's healthy, just stop requesting the fight & trying to bully him into 1 on his date".

Pac would still win, he beats any version of Cotto, but it would be more difficult because Cotto under Diaz is better technically, tactically and has better conditioning.

I would have to say Cotto. He boxed off his jab very well against Floyd. You have to box Manny, stay disciplined & never abandon your game plan. If your stationary, trade with him or stay on a straight line you can forget it. I really want to see Diaz pick up a few more fighters. The dude knows his shit.

I would agree with that. However a bigger, healthy more prepared Cotto can still box & move effectively leaving Pacman who cannot cut off the ring looking more than average.
