yes, he did say that about manny.
at the point he made the comment was talking about what could happen if you fight a PED user, not manny in particular.

The inconsistency is terrible in the Floyd side of the fence. Just terrible.
It's probably more palatable if they just admit Pac is indeed a dangerous and skillful fighter who could knockout Floyd cold. I would then agree that extra testing is indeed necessary. But these are people who are so extreme that they want it both ways: Pac is overrated, he's amateurish, he fought shot and washed-up fighters. He's a catch weight king. He lost a couple of fights. JMM beat him three times. Floyd would stop him in the 8th round.........
"Take the test, Pac!" You're too good to be real, man! Arrgggh!
YOu'd wonder why they're so laser-focused on such a guy to take the most stringent testing ever demanded in the history of boxing. eVen now after three years, and no evidence of Paq doping, they're still laser-focused on a guy they call overrated. The unspoken fear is embarrassing.

If ring magazine has manny as the #1 p4p fighter, you could feel he is overrated. Because manny struggles with cutting the ring off and defense, you could feel he is all offense, and therefore call him one dimensional. you could be right or wrong. its an opinion.
wanting to see both fighters take osdt isn't an opinion, its a measure against cheating. You want to make sure both fighters are clean if they fight. wwith so much money at stake, a fighter might be tempted to load his gloves or use PED's.
isnt eliminating cheating a good thing?

Well the trolls took this thread over.
Bottom line.....Manny turned down fighting Floyd in March 2010 because he didn't agree to the type of random testing Floyd asked for. If this was Barry Bonds or Sammy Sosa, we'd pencil that person in as a cheater.
Hopefully this fight comes off late this year, I doubt it though, or early Spring.Last edited by 4Corners; 08-22-2012, 03:22 PM.
