Well then why is Arum letting Pac negotiate with Cotto if they're not on good terms? I think it's just Pac being busy and telling Koncz to push back the date of his next fight, Koncz and Arum probably came up with the Dec 1st date for commercial reasons. I don't know why the first weekend of december always has big fights, maybe it has something to do with thanksgiving?

2. Cotto rejected TMT. Cotto left Arum. Staging a Pac/May fight on 12/1 to bully Cotto off the date

3. Minor details for a Pac/Cotto fight on 12/1 need to be ironed out before its announced to the public

4. Top Rank trying to bully Cotto into a Pacquiao fight at a catchweight or move it from NY to Vegas


There IS a reason for the 12/1 date though. It's been made clear to everyone that 12/1 is occupied by Cotto to fight at MSG. I believe Golden Boy is already involved in the Cotto fight so I doubt Pac/Cotto happens.
